Keep the Fire Burning

Image
I'm back! I'm back, I'm back in Cebu City...I was here way back 2010. I came here before to find a living and to work for my dreams together with my boyfriend. We never thought fate would bring us back to this place for the same reasons. Maybe, time was the only thing that changed. You might think, it isn't interesting but wait there's more. One day, I was cleaning the room I once lived; I found some old files from my previous job in MACbay Cafe. I was happy to find an old photo. To those who are coffee maker and coffee drinkers, you might know what is this; Caramel Latte. When we say latte, it's a combination of espresso and hot milk. So, as you can see on the photo, the bottom part was the Caramel syrup, followed by milk, then espresso and on top was the creamy foam. I really paste it on my room's wall to give me inspiration as I want to pursue what I have started here in Cebu. It was like this; three years ago I was given a huge opportunity, a chance

The Little Soul and The Sun

Image
Hi guys, This is a blog about my insight with this short story. Let me share you first the short story "The Little Soul and the Sun" in case you haven't read this or you're not familiar with. You may post a comment about your insights or anything about this story. Read and enjoy. Once upon no time, there was a little Soul who said to God, "I know who I am." And God said, "That's wonderful! Who are you?" And the Little Soul shouted, "I'm the Light!" God smiled a big smile. "That's right!" God exclaimed. "You are the Light." The Little Soul was so happy, for it had figured out what all the souls in the Kingdom were there to figure out. "Wow," said the Little Soul, "this is really cool!" But soon, knowing who it was was not enough. The Little Soul felt stirrings inside, and now wanted to be who it was. And so the Little Soul went back to God (which is not a bad idea for all sou

The Goose and The Golden Eggs

Image
(I do not own this photo.) I know your familiar with this short story "The Goose that laid the Golden Eggs" way back when we were young. There were many versions of this but the intention of the story was still the same. As you can see on the photo, this was based on the fable by Aesop. So, who was Aesop? I searched through Google and found that Aesop was a slave and a well-known storyteller way back around 500 BC. Imagine how long his stories exist? About 2500 years now and still continuing to expand since our nursery rhymes and first reading books mostly are from Aesop's fable. If way back then they exercised royalties, Aesop would be one of the richest men in the world in his time. Anyways, my intention of writing a blog out of this is to share with you the deeper wisdom that I got with the help of Stephen Covey. Who is Stephen Covey? He is an internationally known speaker and author on leadership, personal effectiveness and change, and interpersonal rel

Unconditional Love

Image
Hi guys, Let me update you first since I had not been writing anything here for so long. Just this week, I decided to go back in blogging because I love sharing my realizations if I can everyday. So, if you notice with my previous post it was all about talking to God and thanking Him for all the blessings I received. Now, I am going to change the topic a little bit. I am going to write still about God but it is more on how to understand Him, feel Him, or how I see Him as my God. I do not promote any religion. In fact, I have no religion and I see all religions with no prejudice. I respect all of them. Unconditional Love Last year was the darkest year of my life. Yet, in those time, I can say that I partly know God and how He loves us so much. We all know that He loves us unconditionally. When I was young I didn't really understand this. My family are devoted Roman Catholics until now. It was just last year I decided not to involve in any religion and they were so shocked
