Appreciating What We Already Have: My Journey from Self-Doubt to Gratitude

Hey everyone, it's been almost five years since my last blog post, but I'm excited to be back and share my journey with you guys. I took a break from blogging in October 2019 to go back to work because I was afraid that my online business wouldn't be enough to sustain me and my child's basic needs. However, I continued running my online business, Our Beauty Shoppe, which unexpectedly took off during pandemic, allowing me to save money and to start a small food business. In this post, I want to talk about how difficult it is for us to appreciate what we have and forget about them.  Right after I quit my job (September 2021) instead of focusing more on my online business, I invested a lot of money and effort in a small meat shop and food business, which was not my area of expertise, and ended up losing a lot of money, including my savings.
