In Every Crisis, There's An Opportunity

Good day to everyone! I know it has been so long since I updated this blog. To summarize everything that happened to me last 2011, well, I almost got the break even sales for the coffee shop that I was managing. The break even sales was 150,000 and I was able to get 147,000. Unfortunately, the coffee shop was closed because of lack of capital. A lot of people were dismayed about what happened including my staffs and customers. They said that the sales are starting to pick up and more and more people knew about MACbay. I couldn't deny that I felt the same way, too. Though, it was very painful for me but I know deep inside my heart that it is God's plan.

A month after MACbay Cafe closed, I went back to Davao and started a new life again. I wanted to make a resolution with the owner because I wanted to move on but I guessed that it was also very painful for him that for now he cannot forgive me for what happened. I wasn't saying that it was all my mistake but I believed that for any unwanted circumstances to happen it takes two people to tango.

Last January 13, 2012, I started my quest for inner journey to get to know myself well. I got the opportunity to meet my coach who will help and assist me in this. Now, I can say that I know myself better than the past. All the time I thought I already moved on for what had happened for MACbay but I was not. I poured out all my regrets, guilt, anger and hatred that I had been carrying all the time since I was young. This made me forgive myself and through forgiveness I learned to love myself truly. I guessed this was a great opportunity for my life. Now, I can start to live my life positively and I can say that I have truly moved on from my past.

When you forgive yourself, it feels so light to live everyday.
