Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder

I know there are a lot of causes for breakouts, pimples or acne. I would like to share with you about my own story. I hope this might help for those experiencing breakouts right now.  It was in my late twenties (year 2012-2013) when I experienced a lot of pimples on my face. It was disgusting because whenever I was talking to someone they were not looking at me. They were looking at my breakouts. It was really intimidating. So, I looked for a solution. I went for natural. I tried honey, lemon, green tea, apple cider vinegar, etc. Nothing happened. I tried imported facial wash for acne solution. It just made my skin super dry because I had dry skin and it made my pimples worst. I tried different spot treatment, still nothing happened.  It came to a point that whenever I went online I always searched for solutions for my breakouts. But, you know I got that feeling; done that nothing happened. I asked my mother if she had breakouts when she was young. She said none same ...

My First Ever Online Store

Image
At the start of June, I was so excited for a lot of reasons; I resigned from my previous employment so I am now working full-time for my business, I can now go on vacation whenever I want to so I decided to go to my hometown Davao City, and lastly Mary Kay just announced a chance for us, beauty consultants, to travel to Hong Kong and be able to watch the Dream Beautiful contest, the making of a model. I knew deep in my heart that I can do it because they only require us to recruit 8 new team members for 3 months (June-August) and based on my past experience, I was able to recruit 7 team members in 3 months with no goals set whatsoever.  But the unexpected happened, I got sick after I had a facial booking at my friend's house. It was a rare disease and I am going to talk about it soon once I am completely healed. That's a promise! With that sickness, I was bedridden for few weeks and until now I still cannot walk. It has been more than a month already.  First ...

Timewise Miracle Set

Image
Mary Kay was introduced to me from my boyfriend's boss cousin. I was not into anti-aging products before but since I was desperate about my breakouts, I gave it a try. When I joined Mary Kay, I used the Timewise Basic Set since that was included in my starter kit. After 4 months I started using the Timewise Miracle Set. My friend noticed the huge change on my face. And so from then on, everything's change. Let me discuss first the composition of the Timewise Miracle Set and the benefits you will get from it before I share with you my personal experience. Timewise Miracle Set As we get older, our skin will become less moisturized and less radiant because our collagen and elastin fibers start to breakdown. This will make our skin to sag and develop fine lines and wrinkles. What the Timewise Miracle Set does is to reverse the process. It is composed of Timewise 3-in-1 Cleanser, Timewise Age-fighting Moisturizer, Timewise Day Solution Sunscreen SPF35 and Timewise Nig...

Keep the Fire Burning

I'm back! I'm back, I'm back in Cebu City...I was here way back 2010. I came here before to find a living and to work for my dreams together with my boyfriend. We never thought fate would bring us back to this place for the same reasons. Maybe, time was the only thing that changed. You might think, it isn't interesting but wait there's more. One day, I was cleaning the room I once lived; I found some old files from my previous job in MACbay Cafe. I was happy to find an old photo. To those who are coffee maker and coffee drinkers, you might know what is this; Caramel Latte. When we say latte, it's a combination of espresso and hot milk. So, as you can see on the photo, the bottom part was the Caramel syrup, followed by milk, then espresso and on top was the creamy foam. I really paste it on my room's wall to give me inspiration as I want to pursue what I have started here in Cebu. It was like this; three years ago I was given a huge opportunity, a chance...

The Little Soul and The Sun

Image
Hi guys, This is a blog about my insight with this short story. Let me share you first the short story "The Little Soul and the Sun" in case you haven't read this or you're not familiar with. You may post a comment about your insights or anything about this story. Read and enjoy. Once upon no time, there was a little Soul who said to God, "I know who I am." And God said, "That's wonderful! Who are you?" And the Little Soul shouted, "I'm the Light!" God smiled a big smile. "That's right!" God exclaimed. "You are the Light." The Little Soul was so happy, for it had figured out what all the souls in the Kingdom were there to figure out. "Wow," said the Little Soul, "this is really cool!" But soon, knowing who it was was not enough. The Little Soul felt stirrings inside, and now wanted to be who it was. And so the Little Soul went back to God (which is not a bad idea for all sou...

The Goose and The Golden Eggs

Image
(I do not own this photo.) I know your familiar with this short story "The Goose that laid the Golden Eggs" way back when we were young. There were many versions of this but the intention of the story was still the same. As you can see on the photo, this was based on the fable by Aesop. So, who was Aesop? I searched through Google and found that Aesop was a slave and a well-known storyteller way back around 500 BC. Imagine how long his stories exist? About 2500 years now and still continuing to expand since our nursery rhymes and first reading books mostly are from Aesop's fable. If way back then they exercised royalties, Aesop would be one of the richest men in the world in his time. Anyways, my intention of writing a blog out of this is to share with you the deeper wisdom that I got with the help of Stephen Covey. Who is Stephen Covey? He is an internationally known speaker and author on leadership, personal effectiveness and change, and interpersonal rel...
